Condolences

Condolence From: Helen Caradonna
Condolence: Mrs Edwards has come to mind many times over the years because of the wonderful example set while she taught me at Benson. I can still see her fashionable style that see presented day by day. She was a very classy lady. She taught us many Christian songs that I am still so fond of today. She can be accredited to leading many to The Lord. See you on the other side Dear Mrs. Edwards.

Condolence: I would like to offer my condolences to Joy`s family. My husband Bill and I have very fond memories of Joy and Ted from when we sang in the choir at Central united Church in Windsor many years ago. Joy was always very gracious and helpful and it was a pleasure and honour to know them both.

Condolence: I was among those who worked with Joy for many years on what was then called the Women's Association of the Windsor Symphony. She was always so gracious and quietly effective. I am sure many Windsor residents have fond memories of Joy's years in our city.

Condolence: I sang with Joy Edwards in the choir in Windsor. She was a great person who I looked up to. She encouraged me to play Handbells that I would not have played if it was not for Joy. My condolences to the family. She will be missed.

Condolence From: Shirley Hughes
Condolence: I always wondered what happened to my favourite teacher when I was young and today I read of her passing. She was instrumental to my becoming who I am. She was so kind and a wonderful teacher. I remember her like it was yesterday in my classroom at Percy P.McCallum from grade 5 to 8. Her classroom was filled with love and music. Condolences to the family. Shirley
