Obituary for Alan Charles Sproule
SPROULE: Alan Charles – April 2, 1951-October 11, 2021
Alan passed away at Victoria Manor in Lindsay. He was the eldest son of J.C. and Sara (Terry) and brother to Brenda (Brian Bertram), Anna, Barbara (the late Gary Tutin), Lois (Michael Blais), and Donald (Lynne Nottage). He leaves nephews Shaun Cotton, D’Arcy Durward, Matthew Tutin, André Blais, Callum Sproule, and nieces Lisa Cotton, Melissa Tutin and Shanice Sproule as well as nine great nieces and nephews. Alan worked his week to be able to enjoy taking the weekends to explore his environs; first in his Datsun truck, then his beloved motorcycle. A private family interment will be held at Cedar Vale Cemetery Cannington. The family request no donations or flowers. The song, ’I Did It My Way’ resonates deeply regarding Alan. When asked about the content of this missive before he died, he said he just wanted to say, “Good bye”.
