December 16, 1932 to March 11, 2023
Alena (Al) passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare Brampton. Al was predeceased by her husband Thomas Rundle (2015), parents Karel and Gwendoline Rybka (nee Conway) and brother Karel.
Al was a kind soul and will be missed by her sister Ann Bracken (England), her sister-in-law Gay Rybka, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Her love of Lake Simcoe brought her great peace and pleasure. Al enjoyed much time on golf courses, curling rinks, playing bridge and gardening. A heartfelt thanks to Cardinal Nannies (Margo) and the staff at Extendicare who helped to make Al’s final days peaceful and comfortable.
