OLIPHANT: Carol Dawn (Farmer) Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry on Thursday April 20, 2023 in her 75th year, surrounded by her family. Pre-deceased by her parents Walter (1995) and Gladys (1994) Farmer. Carol is survived by her loving husband Thom Gettinby. Cherished mother of Bryon (Lisa), and Blair (Kerri). Special Grandmother of Vanessa, Carson, Victoria, Carlee, and Connor. Great-Grandmother of Lillian and Isabelle. Sister of Elaine (Blane) Allardyce. She will be remembered by her niece Jennifer, nephew Matthew, and her long time friend Norma Wilks Warda of Victoria B.C. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Lakeridge Health Port Perry for their caring and compassionate care. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at the Port Perry Legion (484 Bay St. Port Perry) on Saturday June 10, 2023 from 1-5P.M with words of remembrance at 2:30P.M.
