Gordon G Clarke November 18th, 1973 ~ October 31st, 2023
Gordon G Clarke, 49 of Oakwood entered into rest at his home surrounded by the love of his family on October 31st, 2023. Gordon fought his battle until the bitter end. He did so with courage, strength and grace. Gordon never once complained. He was determined to live for us who loved him so much and endured more than anyone should ever have to. His smile lit up a room. He was always the life of every party. Gordon would want to be remembered through laughter at a memory of him followed by a raised glass. Gordon was the beloved husband and best friend of Shannon (Finn). Loving father of Raynna and Wyatt. Cherished son of Mona Smith. Adored son in law of Elaine and Mickey (predeceased) Finn. Treasured brother of Monique Blight (Jason). Much loved brother in law of Darcy Finn ( Heather) and Aaron Finn ( predeceased) (Grace Ryba). Prankster uncle to Allister, Riley, Madeline and Thomas Finn, Carter, Cole and Aliya Reeson. Gordon is also lovingly remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial donations can be made in Gordon's name to the Durham Regional Cancer Center. Celebration of life ( Gordon G style) to be held on November 18th, 2023 from 7-11 pm at the Sunderland Legion, 104 River St. Sunderland
