MARVIN, JAMES ROBERT
Passed away unexpectedly at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on the 15th of September, 2021 in his 81st year with his family by his side. Son of the late Robert Carl Marvin, and Ruth Marvin (née) Haskell. Loving brother of Judy Woodson, and Joan Rider. Cherished companion of Chris Boothby. Beloved father of Cyndi Marvin Schaffer (Jeffrey Brown), and Jill Marvin Blanchet (Jeannot Blanchet). Loving grandfather of Samantha and Nicklas Blanchet. Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, including his longtime childhood friend William (Bill) Smith.
Jim enjoyed a fulfilling career in radio and sales, spending his last years prior to retirement with the Huntsville Forester Press family. During his retirement, he actively enjoyed his love of kayaking, travel, and Florida winters, but closest to his heart was time spent with his family. A private family celebration of life following cremation will be held.
