Condolence: Dear Len and family - I can’t imagine how sad you are over the loss of Joan. Joan and I were workmates then we became friends. In 1987 we went on a lengthy trip to England. I was very excited to be going to England for the first time. So much so that Joan became worried that it wouldn’t live up to my expectations. She didn’t need to worry; it was wonderful, as was her company. We travelled all over, from the Isle of Skye to Wales, to Cornwall, to Kent for the wedding of our friend Jane and of course to High Wycombe. We have remained close friends ever since. Joan, I feel that you have left me in mid-conversation; there is so much more to talk about. I will miss you very much. Joan was so proud of all of the ‘kids’ and of course was devastated by the loss of Craig and before that her brother John. To you all and especially to you Len, we give our heartfelt condolences and send love. From Ann, Richard and Abby.

Condolence: I'm so very sad to hear of Joan's passing. She has been an institution in the Toronto astrology community for many years, dedicating her time, energy and presence. She was also very kind in reaching out to me personally when I was in hospital last year, which I deeply appreciated. She will be very much missed. My sincere condolences to Len and family.
