HAYWARD: John “Allan” Ray – Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 22, 2023. Allan was pre-deceased by his wife Vondah (Pegg) Hayward, also by his son Vaughn, and daughter Susan. Brother of Lorne (Marg) Hayward, and pre-deceased by his brother Harold. Special grandfather of Shaun (Monica) Hayward and great-grandfather of Justyn, Joshua, and Julia. Allan will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Allan was the proprietor of Hayward's Esso, served many years as a volunteer firefighter, was an avid gardener and enjoyed a friendly game of cards. A private family graveside service will be held at Stone Church Cemetery. Celebration of life will take on November 18th at Community Pentecostal Church from 2-4 P.M With words of remembrance at 2:30 P.M.
