Beloved only daughter of Alfred and Grace Burgess passed away at Teck Pioneer Residence of Kirkland Lake, October 31, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband David. Kathryn worked for more than 25 years in dentistry as a PDA before retiring to enjoy an outdoor experience in the North. She was a valued employee who worked for two dental offices in Toronto’s Parkdale District. Her interests were the outdoors, her music, family heirlooms and collectibles, and of course her family. Kathryn’s heritage was always foremost in discussions with family. As a loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her three children, Kara Rennie (Andy), Matthew (Erica), and Marci Kidney (Craig), and her grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Hudson, Grace, Olivia, Gemma, and Ruby. Thank you for Kathryn's care to all staff at Kirkland District Hospital and to all staff at Teck Pioneer Residence. A graveside service will be held at the Old Stone Church, Beaverton, on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
