BISHOP: Michael John –It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on January 30, 2024 unexpectedly. He passed peacefully with family at his side. We will all miss him more than words can express. Mike was a loving husband to Brenda Campbell and loved his dog Simcoe. He was pre-deceased by their son David Bishop, and by his mother Marie Napier (Warren) and step-father Bill Napier. Special brother of Donald Bishop (Nancy Berrie). He will be remembered by his aunt Marion Coon, his uncle Ted (pre-deceased Lorraine) Warren, his niece Jody Stevenson, his nephews Chad Bishop, Darren (Jen) Bishop, and his cousins Cathy Warren (Billy Campbell). Before retirement, Mike was a linesman at Whitby Hydro. He worked with a great crew and enjoyed working outside. Mike will be fondly remembered for his passion for music, singing and playing his harmonica’s. He loved his music and jamming in the garage, in the kitchen and sitting in with M.T. Pockets. He also played with Silver Lake in Calgary. A Celebration of Life will occur with details to be determined.
