Obituary for Michael Robert Brunell

It is with great sadness we announce Mike’s passing. Mike leaves behind his father Bob Brunell and has
been reunited with his mother Eleanor Brunell (Bronte).
Mike enjoyed a career at Wardair and Air Canada as an aircraft mechanic. When Mike was not building
and flying his model airplanes you could be sure to find him in front of the TV cheering on the Leafs,
ever so hopeful that next year they just might take the cup!!! Mike loved his classic rock, 50’s music and
of course that Great Canadian, Stompin Tom Conners. Mike had also had a special connection with
Holly, the horse he loved to ride through the years.
Mike was a gentle sole, who touched numerous lives with his thoughtfulness and gentle kindness.
Always willing to offer good advice, or simply lend an ear, willing to help when he could.
He will be deeply missed by his Aunt Shirley Bronte (George), Uncle Gord Bronte, Cousins; Gary Bronte
(Lynn), Susanne Bronte, Debbie Goudis (Jim), and Teresa Lloyd (Brian Rabey).
Friends: Lisa Gardner-Switzer, Lori Lee Leonard, Mark Gardner and many others including his fellow
flyers at the flying clubs he so enjoyed.
Thank you Mike, for you made this world a better place and touched the hearts of many. Fly high, soar
above the clouds and rest in peace. We will see you later….
