Obituary for Monika Deglau

DEGLAU: Monika “Our Mom passed away peacefully at her home on the afternoon of Sept 14, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Mom never once complained of her pain and suffering and was brave, stubborn and strong to the end.
Mom is loved and will be missed by her 4 children, Susan ( Neil Fleming), Roland, Dena and April ( Dave Hart) and her 7 grandchildren, Daniel, Conner, Levi, Shelby, Mack, Tabitha and David, who all had a special place in her heart.
We will always remember Mom for her strength, her extraordinary resilience, the values she instilled in all of us, and the love and support she gave us throughout our lives. Mom sacrificed so much for us over the years, and we are grateful! She loved us all so much! After moving from Keswick, Mom spent 25 years living and working in Richmond Hill, where she had a successful career at Texas Instruments, she had many wonderful memories of her time spent there. Mom retired at the age of 64 and moved to Beaverton, enjoying trips to Florida and Cuba, and time at the family cottage, finally taking time for herself to enjoy the peace and happiness she so deserved. Mom cherished her many friendships and appreciated all the kindness she was shown by her neighborhood friends who were so helpful to her.
Rest in peace Mom hope you are dancing with the highest Angels!
Cremation has taken place, online condolences are welcomed at manganfuneralhome.com and will be appreciated.
