Condolence: How sad I was to hear about the passing of Pat. Since receiving the news today, my mom and I have been sharing stories and memories about this great gentleman. I have many fond memories of Pat visiting my grandma and grandpa at the family home in Bolsover and the Legion in Woodville. As a little kid, I used to marvel at HOW MUCH he could eat! I couldn't understand where on earth all that food was going! How Pat loved grandma's cooking, and how pleased she was about it too. To a little kid he was a giant, but the most gentle giant you could ever know. He was a dear, dear friend to our family and the community, Pat will be missed by so many. Thoughts of love to the McRae and MacPherson clans during this difficult time. xoxo
