Bob Passed away unexpectedly at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay early morning of Saturday, August 27th. Bob was the cherished husband and soul mate of Lynne (Moses) for 57 years. Loving father of Steve (Julie) of Calgary and John (Sue) of Vancouver and grandfather to Veronica and Devon. Bob is predeceased by his parents John and Dorothy Hill, brother Doug MacDonald and sister Dianne McEachern.
Bob was a builder in the Bolsover community. Many monuments to his building skills can be seen throughout the area. Bob was also a volunteer firefighter with Eldon Township and an active member in his church. For the many people privileged to know him words such as honourable, hard-working, caring, faithful, kind, thoughtful, humble, honest, trusting, helping, generous, giving…easily come to mind.
Visitation and memorial service will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton on Tuesday September 6th from 11A.M. until time or memorial service at 1P.M Dear friends and family are invited to meet at the Hill home in Bolsover following the service. If so desired memorial donations, in memory of Bob, to the Bolsover Presbyterian Church, Woodville Food Bank, or to the local charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
