We had to say goodbye to a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Robert (Bob) Page passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend to Donna Jane (nee Laing), father to Debbie (Ray), Kelly (predeceased). Step-father to Joey (Nikki). Adoring grandfather to Andrew (Sarah), Evan (Kaitlyn), Amanda (Ryan), Jacqlyn (Cody), Scott and Jade. Great-grandfather to Avery, Brock, Carson, Olivia, Reid, Deegan, Myer and Lyla. Bob was so very proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a very special bond with his best friends Glen and Keith and many of his neighbors in Brechin where he built his home on Lake Simcoe. He was the bones to our family, the voice that makes us all laugh and smile, the strength, the wisdom, the life behind our family. We will forever be grateful for all he has taught us, for the courage you have shown us and most importantly for the memories of the last few weeks together. Through the pain you still found the strength to be silly, to dance when you could barely walk, enjoy the sunsets and ring that bell to make sure we were still there with you. We love you unconditionally and life will be different for all of us without you here but we are fortunate to live our lives with the foundation you created, your legacy will carry on in all of us. May you rest in peace, enjoy the next journey of your life and we all know you will be watching over us. Forever in our hearts.
