Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Donald REID can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

George Hatley

I've always been a history buff, particularly towards the RCAF. My Great Uncle (James Francis McCormick) was KIA flying a Halifax bomber. Approximately six years ago, word came to me a surviving crew member of my Great Uncle had been found living in Beaverton. I rushed to Ontario from Alberta simply to talk with living history. Ken and his wife graciously invited me into their home where I spent a couple of hours with Ken discussing his time in the RCAF. It was a fascinating afternoon for me. Ken, for everything, thank you. Say hi to Uncle Frank when you see him again.
