Condolence From: Jim Jones
Condolence: Aunt Bessie leaves a legacy of love and happiness with all who knew her. Quite possibly the warmest, most cheerful person I've ever known, Aunt Bessie was a beacon, welcoming me into her home, bringing laughter to my life, and comfort when I needed it. So many fond memories of growing up with your love and guidance - rest peacefully, Aunt Bess.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Bertram. If Dorothy was still with us, she would be devastated. As one of the 'younger' mothers in the old neighbourhood, she always treated us as family. She understood our foibles and tried to stear us straight. She offered treats and kicks to the lower extremeties with equal enthusiasm. God bless you and may you rest in peace Bessie.

Condolence: It is with a heavy heart that this message reached me. The memories of Mrs. Bertram and the cottage are all a part of my teenage years. With a mixture of good things to eat, along with a scolding for drinking beer, we had more fun than I thought possible. She had always welcomed us into the Family, and tried to steer us in the right direction. The visits to Muskoka were a treat and even when in the home, Roy and I would go for a visit to see her. The breakfast in Bala is one of my last, and favorite memories of Bessie, with laughter was second to none. Good Memories were in abundance , when out with Roy and mother ,as we only wish we could repeat them over and over. A big part of my past and many others, will forever be a pleasant memory, due to having known Mrs. Bessie Bertram. May God hold her in his arms and keep her safe for eternity, Bless the Family and hold dear the ones she loved.
