SCHWAB: Charles “Sonny” (1924 – 2016) - Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Haliburton on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with his son Darryl by his side. Cherished husband of the late Marg Schwab. Dear brother of Betty Moore and Gordon Schwab. Loving father of the late Teresa (Terry) Crawford and her partner Gordon Smith, Charles (Tony) Schwab and his partner Elaine Kay, the late Martin Schwab, Cindy-Lou McDermott, Stephen Schwab, Darryl Schwab and his partner Laurie Simard. Cherished grandfather to Jeremy, Sean, Serena, the late Justin, Sarah, Carl, Charlynne, Shauna, Joshua, Tammy, Zachery, Samantha, Leasha and Wayne. Great-grandfather to Liam, Michael, Nora, Olivia, and Isaiah. Family and friends will be received at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Beacan Presbyterian Church, 413 Simcoe Street, Beaverton, with a reception following. If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Charles to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
