Condolence From: Donna Ritch
Condolence:
Dear Don was already experiencing dementia when I first met him through his beloved daughter Sheila. He appeared a quiet sweet man who would nod his head at your entrance thinking perhaps he knew you from somewhere.

What has always struck me in this home with his Betty, Sheila and son in law Wallace was the love that was there. It was palpable. It was joyful to be with these people who all loved one another despite the challenges of illness and aging touching their lives.

Betty shared the many gifts she received being married to Don including roses picked for her by Don, grown and tended to in his very own garden.

It is sad to say goodbye to Don. I know he will be so missed. But I will remember the love...the love that began with Don and Betty that was dear and special and brought light into the world simply by 'being'.
God Bless you all on this journey

Condolence From: Robert & Sharron Field
Condolence: Betty, Sheila & Gordon

Both of us were very saddened to hear of Don's passing. We have been neighbors for over 28 years and will forever remember our chats cross the fence, the relaxing beer breaks, and most of all the memories he shared of his "radar" days. You all have been great neighbors and will be truly missed. Betty, when we are up that way will pop in and say hello. Take care. Don is now at peace with the Lord, but forever in our hearts and minds.
