Obituary for George Barry BENTLEY

BENTLEY: George Barry - peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Friday, July 20, 2018 in his 70th year. George Bentley was the son of the late George and Muriel Bentley of Brechin. George will be sadly missed by long-time dear friends Murray Smith of Uxbridge and Marlene (Smith) Mattson of Elmvale.
He was a very colourful resident of Riverside Beach for many years, loved fishing and parties with neighbours with a bonfire on the beach. We will remember his quirky sense of humour and he will be missed from the town of Beaverton and the Lake Simcoe area of Brechin. He was a long-time member of the Beaverton Legion. At George’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Private interment of cremated remains at the Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton at a later date. Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton in charge of arrangements. Online condolences are welcomed at www.manganfuneralhome.com
