Obituary for Janine Marie LAFLECHE-BENTLEY (LaFleche)

BENTLEY, Janine Marie-nee Jeanine Marie LAFLECHE. Born 03/29/1930, passed away quietly at Lakeview Manor Long Term Care, Beaverton, ON, May 3rd, 2019.
Her husband Robert Stanley Bentley passed away at 84 years old at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie ON November, 2013 and survived by his daughters Donnella and Marla and family.
JANINE was born in Sturgeon Falls ON. She was the Daughter of Chief Jean Paul Lafleche and Jeannette Louisa Cusson Lafleche. Her daughter, Lise Tompson Cyr passed away July 31, 2015 and is survived by her husband Gordon Cyr. She is survived by her granddaughter Jennifer Tompson and great granddaughter Estelle White. She is survived by her son Jean, Leslie Violette, granddaughter Danielle, grandson Michelle. All the above are from Vancouver. BC. She is also survived by her daughter Melodie Marie Claudette Violette, North Bay, ON. Janine was one of seven daughters. She is survived by Vivianne her sister, Maurice passed away, survived by Carmen Robidoux and Jerry Lauzon, Chemistford ON; Greg and Pauline Robidoux and family, Val Caron On; Perry and Wendy Robidoux and family, Oshawa ON; Francis Robidoux and Victoria. Laurette and Jean Lachance passed away from Aylmer QC and survived by Micheline and Charles A. David and Family, Montreal QC; Sylvie and Paul Thibeault and family, Aylmer QC; Jean Claude and Maryse Lachance and family, Gatineau QC.Estelle and Herb Greer passed away. Survived by Dan and Cinthia Roveda and family, Sturgeon Falls ON; Mark Roveda and family, Messine QC.Survived by Claudette and Cecil Watters, Woodville ON; Shawn and Debbie and family, Elora ON; John and Brenda Watters, Uxbridge ON; Michael and Edith Watters and family, Uxbridge ON. Survived by Melodie Lafleche Shurgour, Gordon Stanley Brown, Kirkfield, ON. Family, Timothy Joseph Shurgour, Stephane Shurgour North Bay, ON. Pamelee Lulu Shurgour and Ken Laycock Wasaga Beach ON and family. Wilson A.Shurgour passed away August12,1980. Cinthia and Michael Kunst and family, Orillia,ON. Jacinthe Joncas Lise Lapointe, Montibella QC.Survived by Marcelle (Marcie) Tyler and Ronald Tyler deceased; Derek Tyler deceased Strathroy ON; Ronald and Cathy Tyler and family Strathroy ON; Mark Tyler Calcary, AL.
Janine after completing her education in Sturgeon Falls went to the Misericorde Hospital in Montreal along with three eldest sisters to attend nursing school. Two years later Janine got married and moved to Temiskaming, QC. While raising her family she worked for nineteen years at the POST Office. She then worked at Temiskaming High School as a Librarian Technician. At fifty years old she went to Laurentian University in Sudbury and she completed her Librarian Certified Degree. Janine was a very dedicated person. She enjoyed curling, golfing and had many good friends at work and home.
Janine and her husband, Bob retired in Bolsover ON. They enjoyed boating and golfing at Western Trent for many years. They then moved to Lake Chapala, Mexico and enjoyed golf and sunshine for many years.
Also, remembered by her adoring Granddaughter Jennifer and Estelle White her Great granddaughter. We will all miss Dear Janine. On July 27th, 2019, The Family will have an Intimate Memorial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Sturgeon Falls ON. Her ashes will be buried alongside Mom & Dad in the Family Plot; officiated by Father Foucault. The Family will then meet at the Knight of Columbus Hall in Sturgeon Falls for an Intimate Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial Donations to the Lakeview Manor in Beaverton.
