at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Mae (Jewell) McDonald of Beaverton and formerly of Woodville was the beloved wife of the late Larry McDonald. Loved mother of Joan and her husband Gordon Steele of Woodville, Ken and his wife Maureen McDonald of Beaverton and predeceased by her son Barry Jewell. Dear grandma of Donald Steele and Bev, Linda Wilson, Larry McDonald and Ashley, Mitchell McDonald, Nicole McDonald and Nick. Great grandma of Thomas Steele, Sydney Steele, Ryan Steele and Alora, Michael McDonald, Madison McDonald, Mason Steele, April and Clifford. Great-great grandma of Auden Steele. Sister of the late Catherine and her husband Peter McEachern and the late Albert and his wife Eunice Jewell. Family and friends will be received at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Interment Smith’s Cemetery, Woodville.
