McDONALD: Linda Ann - at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Linda (Flanagan) McDonald is the beloved wife of John McDonald of Victoria Road. Loved mother of Matthew (Andrea) of Victoria Road and Michelle of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Shelby. Sister of Kathy (Don) Davis of Oshawa, Tony (Therese) Flanagan of Burlington and the late Peter Flanagan. Sister-in-law of Judy McDonald of Victoria Road and the late Shirley McDonald. Along with being a devoted wife and mother, Linda cared for many people as an RN in the emergency department of the Ross Memorial Hospital before her retirement. Family and friends will be received at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 16 Patrick Street, Victoria Road, Ontario on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 10 am until time of funeral mass at 11 am. Interment St, Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Victoria Road. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
