Mike Hand

Gord was a great man and a fantastic police officer. I respected him as both and he taught me many life lessons throughout my career. I had the opportunity to work with and to learn from one of the greatest Detectives York Regional Police ever had. I will always remember what a true gentleman he was and the kindness he exhibited to all even the bad guys. He was truly someone who could be counted on. He was a mentor and a friend, he was the best. He is gone but not forgotten, may he rest in peace. God Bless you Gord.
